Did you know the teachers at this school have a secret place?
Kind of like the Prefects’ bathroom, but more of a safe space
Not a workroom or an office where you’d go to chat
This room here is special, there’s much more to it than that

There’s a room in Hogwarts where teachers go to meet
A place where they can socialize and just put up their feet
The Gay Lounge, some will call it, for teachers who are queer
Wizard-loving wizards are always welcome here

Flitwick will provide the drinks and decorations too
Dumbledore brings all the snacks, the candy, and the food
Filch’s crush on Hagrid is becoming clear
But Hagrid still has no idea why Filch is even here

There’s a room in Hogwarts where teachers go to meet

A gorgeous second album that holds up well to the high standard set by the first. The sweet love songs are back, along with an ode to Ron Weasley, a gorgeous metawrock song (and I'm not usually a big fan of metawrock), a couple of spiritual successors to songs from the debut album and one of my favourite DH Chapter 34 songs ever, among other gems.
