King of Cats

I like creepin' around and being super nosy
I'm part kneazle so no one really knows me
And what I'm capable of, always watching
More eyes than Filch in the halls is exhausting
Not all that likely to discuss what I see
Please these cats got nothing on me
I break whatever school rules I want
No consequences, never done any wrong
Some think I'm a nuisance, yet I'm cleverer than you
'Mione also thinks so, that's why she she choosed
This grumpy looking cat, so watch your back
I got friends that are willing to jump to attack
I'll go on with what I was doing, pay me no mind
You'll begin to find I'll return the favor in kind
I dig out the liars so I can catch the rats
Y'all know that Wormtail escaped my grasp
Though in the end we know he won't last
He won't last
I got bravery like a Gryffindor, loyal to the core
This body was born to be a nature of force
Fatally protective as a Hufflepuff, friends or bust
Sneaking out of bounds of the castle at dusk
Cunning like a Slytherin, I'm apart of their kin
I'll spring into action, I'm fast, gone with the wind
Unique thoughts like a Ravenclaw, won't admit I have flaws
Don't get it twisted, you know I'm a boss
So just call me the Sorting Hat and I'll make
My way back into the stacks
Find Hermione so I can snuggle on her lap
Don't forget my name, its Crookshanks
The King of all the Hogwarts Cats

I'd Rather Be a Cat
01:54
|

I teach here at Hogwarts, McGonagall's the name
I can change into a cat, no I ain't playin' games
Catch me in the classroom, see me in the halls
But you won't find me hangin' by my tail up on a wall
Mrs Norris thinks she's special with Argus by her side
But in the end it wasn't me who got petrified
Kitty's got some nerve eyein' me like that
But let me tell you truthfully: I'd rather be a cat
Sleepin' in the sunshine, spooking all the kids
Thinking I ain't in the classroom - they know what they did
Learn transfiguration; that is where it's at
And let me tell you truthfully: I'd rather be a cat
I-I-I-I-I
I-I-I-I-I
I-I-I-I-I

Petrified
04:24
|

Hey all you cool cats gather around
And come listen to my tale
All about the day I wandered the castle grounds
And how I ended up hanging by my tail
It was a night just like any other
I smelled trouble in the air
I was doing my job as a castle patroller
Searching for mischief here and there
Sing it, kitties
Something fishy caught my attention
The floor was flooded past my feets
That’s where I saw the reflection
Of those yellow eyes gazing back at me
I felt all the movement leave my body
I felt my blood go chill
Couldn’t move a muscle, couldn’t call nobody
Couldn’t do a thing but remain still
Now I’m petrified
My feets don’t move
I’m petrified
I’ve got no groove
I’m petrified
I can’t meow at all
I’m petrified
Can’t move my tail
I’m petrified
Can’t scream or wail
I’m petrified and Filch won’t hear my call
I’m petrified and Filch won’t hear my call

That Time I Got Ringworm
01:32
|
|||
Well I went right down to the SPCA
To pick up my foster cat
I brought him home, fleas and all
And I said, “Would you look at that!”
Patches of fur were fallin’ out
He got dirt all over the place
So I gave him a bath and cleaned him up good
And then I saw his face
The cutest face I ever did see
And a hearty purr to boot
His ginger fur was thin and worn
But he sure was gosh darn cute
He gobbled up the first full meal
He pro’bly had in days
He’s a fighter, tough as nails
I promise that was the case
But then I got that fateful call
From the clinic’s vet
They told me he had ringworm
And after that you bet
I cleaned the place from head to toe
And Ollie had to go back
To the ringworm unit that
They have for ringworm’d cats
Deep cleaned, quarantined
When I think of it I squirm
Picked up some anti-fungal
For that time I got ringworm
Well I ain’t seen old Ollie since
But I hear he’s doin’ fine
And I been stuck at home with Jack
(The first cat that was mine)
We deep cleaned, quarantined
When I think of it I squirm
Picked up some anti-fungal
For that time I got ringworm
I hope I never get it again
This ringworm sure does itch
But it was worth it just get
Old Ollie outta that ditch
